Dr n. med. Agnieszka Ćwiklińska-Haszcz

Medical Director at Professor Zagorski Eye Surgery Centre in Nałęczów and Lublin and Senior Assistant at the Department of Glaucoma Diagnostics and Microsurgery at SPSK1 in Lublin. 

He specialises in cataract surgery and performs procedures for subluxated lenses, complicated and traumatic cataracts, using monofocal, toric and multifocal lenses. He has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of corneal diseases, including the use of cross-linking and corneal transplantation. He also deals with dry eye syndrome, amniotic membrane transplants and anterior segment reconstructions. He performs qualification and surgical treatment of patients with high visual impairment - including refractive lens replacement and phakic lens implants. 

Dr Karolina Krix-Jachym, M.D.

Cataract Coordinator at the Department of Ophthalmology of the Military Medical Institute in Warsaw.

She obtained her medical degree after completing Higher medical studies at the Faculty of Medicine of the L. Rydygier Medical Academy in Bydgoszcz in 2004. Since 2005, she has worked at the Department of Ophthalmology of the Military Medical Institute, currently as an assistant professor. In 2012, she was awarded the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences by the resolution of the Scientific Council of the Military Medical Institute on the basis of her doctoral thesis entitled. "Evaluation of the treatment of malignant glaucoma as a complication of fistula surgery". She obtained the title of specialist in ophthalmology on 18 April 2013, after completing her specialisation training and passing the State Specialisation Examination.

She has actively participated in many national congresses and in the XXVI and XXX Congress of the ESCRS (European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery). She is co-author of the book Malignant Glaucoma, published in 2013, ISBN 953-51-1064-0). She has published her work in national and international journals, including the "Journal of Cataract and refractive Surgery", 'Journal of Ophthalmology, "Eye Clinic". Her research interests and clinical topics include intraocular lenses, anterior eye surgery, especially cataract surgery.
