Prof. A. Grzybowski with the prestigious "Founders' Award" of the International Society for Refractive Surgery (ISRS)

 
 
 
At the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) conference held 12-15.11.2021 in New Orleans, Professor Andrzej Grzybowski received the prestigious 'Founders' Award' of the International Society of Refractive Surgery (ISRS).
Prof Grzybowski is the first Pole to be awarded by this Society. The International Society for Refractive Surgery is a partner of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has members from more than 90 countries. The Society organises the most important meeting of cataract and refractive surgery specialists at the AAO-Subspeciality Refractive Day.
 
Prof Grzybowski is also the only ophthalmologist in Poland included in the 2% of the world's most important scientists according to Stanford University's TOP 2% ranking for 2019 (http://www.uwm.edu.pl/en/egazeta/uwm-professors-among-the-best-scientists-in-the-world),
and, according to the Expertscape Worldwide Ranking, ranked 1st in the world for cataracts (https://www.expertscape.com/ex/cataract) and 2nd in the world for cataract surgery (https://expertscape.com/ex/cataract+extraction).
