The project\u00a0<strong>\"Diabetic Retinopathy Screening\".<\/strong>\u00a0involved examining diabetics during a visit to a diabetologist, without the involvement of an ophthalmologist - fundus photos were analysed by artificial intelligence. The project was co-financed by the City of Pozna\u0144.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>The Foundation trained the nursing staff of the diabetes clinic in the use of the funduscamera (a camera for taking fundus images). The entire examination takes a few minutes and the patient receives the result on the spot, along with recommendations for further follow-up appointments with their ophthalmologist.
