It designs, supports and conducts research in clinical ophthalmology, optometry and the history of medicine, with a particular focus on the history of ophthalmology.<\/p><p><b>Objectives:<\/b><\/p><p>1. conduct and support research in the physiology and pathology of vision,<\/p><p>2. conduct clinical trials in collaboration with, among others, pharmaceutical companies,<\/p><p>3. collaboration with industry on testing new technologies in the field of visual physiology and pathology,<\/p><p>4. national and international cooperation in research and new technologies,<\/p><p>5. preparing and running programmes for the prevention and early detection of eye diseases,<\/p><p>6 Prepare and conduct educational programmes for doctors and patients in the area of visual physiology and pathology,<\/p><p>7. conducting ophthalmic research, particularly related to scientific research,<\/p><p>8 Consultation on modern ophthalmic technology and options for obtaining treatment for eye diseases.<\/p><p><b>The institute collaborates with:<\/b><\/p><p>1.
